Rangers, FIA raid KMC’s office, seize data

KARACHI: The Rangers and the Federal Investigation Agency carried out a raid at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Land and Revenue and Engineering departments located at the Civic Centre here, sources said on Friday.The sources told Geo News that the raid was carried out with the consent of higher authorities. They said Director Land of the KMC Jahangir Baloch was also present when the paramilitary force and the FIA carried out the search operation. The sources said that the Rangers seized the data of the two departments. They said the office of the Land and Revenue Department is located on the third floor of the Civic Centre, adding that no arrest was made during the raid.
