Six booked in kidnapping case

HAFIZABAD: Vanike Police have registered a case against six accused on charges of kidnapping and torturing a youth in a torture cell. One of them has been arrested, while raids are being conducted for the remaining.
According to details, poor labourer Dost Muhammad had lodged a written application in which he alleged that local influential Waqas Azmat, Bilawal, Umar, Hasnain and others kidnapped his son Mustaneer alias Tanveer and torture him at their dera (outhouse), which they recorded in a video.
Dost Muhammad also appealed to the chief minister for immediate recovery of his son who had gone missing two months ago.
