MARDAN: The officials of the Counter-Terrorism Department on Friday arrested an extortionist here on Friday.
A press release said that the CTD officials raided a shop in MardanChowk near the Ring Road.
They arrested Sabz Ali Khan alias Kado,a resident of Jana Kor in Frontier Region, Peshawar.
The officials recovered a hand-grenade, pistol and ammunition from his possession.
The CTD officials shifted him to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
