Online complaints
Advancements in the field of science and technology have made the lives of people easy and comfortable. In order to benefit from these technological innovations, the Punjab government is planning to develop an online portal for registration and redressal of people’s complaints. After approval by the chief minister, the Chief Minister’s Special Monitoring Unit on law and order in collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board will work to create this portal.
Once the portal becomes effective, it will provide opportunities to people to register complaints and convey them to the quarters concerned for redressal. Moreover, all the departments have been given directions to appoint a focal person who will solely be responsible for answering complaints received and provide accurate feedback and solution to citizens. It is hoped that the government will remain sincere in its efforts to facilitate people.
