Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly and PPP leader Syeda Shehla Raza on Thursday said PPP, under the dynamic and young leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari resurrecting its position and old glory especially in Punjab and before the next general elections, it would become the most popular party of all provinces.
She was addressing a grand Eid-Milan party arranged by PPP Public Relations Secretariat Punjab in the honour of workers of Pakistan People’s Party, PSF, PYO, People’s Labour Bureau, Minority and Women wings of PPP here at Octroi No. 22 Chowk, Harley Street, Rawalpindi Cantonment. Former Deputy Secretary Public Relations PPP Punjab Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan hosted the Eid Millan Party which was well attended by PPP and its all wings’ workers. It is worth mentioning that 20 senior workers of the party jointly presided over the event.
While addressing the workers, PPP former Deputy Secretary Public Relations Punjab Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan said the PPP workers did not want anything from their local leaders except respect and honour. “We give esteem and admiration to the workers and in return they promised to lay down every sacrifice to regain the past glory of the party”, he remarked. Local office bearers of PPP from Rawalpindi, Attock and Fatehjang also spoke on the occasion and expressed satisfaction over the efforts of revival of the party.
