TANK: District nazim Mustafa Khan Kundi Thursday said the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has approved Rs10 million for establishment of sub-campus of the Gomal University in Tank.
Talking to reporters at his office, he said the people of Tank, South Waziristan and Frontier Region (FR) will get their dream of higher education realised at their doorsteps.“A team comprising senior officials of Gomal University visited Government College and Government Vocational Institute and other places for setting up the campus with full activities,” he added.
He said in its first phase the campus would introduce Journalism, Master of Business Administration, IER, Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a few disciplines of arts.The district nazim stated that district administration had also assured full support for establishment of sub-campus.He said that 300 universities would be established across the country under the government of Pakistan’s Vision 2025.
