Student killed in jubilant firing

OKARA: A class 4 student was killed in jubilant firing at a marriage function at Chak 3/SP on Sunday night.
The marriage function of Bilal Sukhera was under way when some of his friends allegedly started aerial firing in jubilation. As a result, Ayub Khichi was killed on the spot. Haveli Lakha police have registered a case against three accused and arrested one accused, Ali Hassan. The other accused are still at large.

OKARA: Sadr police have registered a case against some people, including Ashraf, under sections 4/5 of the Explosives Act and 13/20/65 of the Arms Ordinance.
The case was registered on the report of CTD Inspector Alam Sher. On Saturday night, the CTD raided the house of AMP general secretary Mehr Abdul Sattar at Chak 4/4L and recovered arms and foreign currency from there.
