Citizens robbed of valuables in 18 hits

GUJRANWALA: Citizens were deprived of cash and valuables in different incidents on Monday in several areas of Gujranwala.
At Noshera Virkan three bandits intercepted Maid and his wife and deprived them of Rs 30,000, gold ornaments and two cell phones.
Robbers snatched Rs 40,000 and two cell phones from Azhar in Kot Ladha.
In Emanabad gunmen deprived Azam of Rs 23,000 and a cell phone.
Dacoits took away Rs 32,000, gold ornaments and two cell phones from Sajid and his wife in Gakhar Mandi.
In Sadar Kamoke police station limits robbers snatched Rs 16,000 and two cell phones from Shahid.
Shoaib and his wife were deprived of gold ornaments, Rs 31,000 and gold ornaments by dacoits in Alipur Chatha.
In City Kamoke area bandits snatched Rs 16,000 and two cell phones from Habib.
In Emanabad Imran was deprived of Rs 30,000 and three cell phones.
Gunmen took away Rs 9,000 and two cell phones from Nafees in Sadar police station limits.
In Sadar Wazirabad area bandits snatched Rs 25,000 and two cell phones from Chand.
Faisal was deprived of Rs 6,000 and a new motorcycle in Sabzi Mandi police station limits.
At Khiali armed men took away new motorcycle and Rs 4,000 from Ali Haider.
New motorcycles of Saleem, Maqsood, Hafiz, Saood and Salman were stolen from different places of the city.
ANTI-ENCROACHMENT OPERATION: On the instructions of Assistant Commissioner Attiq-ur-Rehman, TMA Khiali Shah Pur Town Monday launched a crackdown on illegal structures and demolished four buildings located in Shaheenabad.
These buildings were built without approval and against regulations. A case was also registered against accused Abbas, Abu Zar, Ahmed, Mian Naveed and others for putting up resistance.
