Woman commits self-immolation

OKARA: A woman committed self-immolation over a domestic dispute at Chak 31/2-L on Friday.
Alia Bibi wanted to go to Lahore to meet her parents but her husband did not allow. To it, she committed self-immolation. Police are investigation.
MAN KILLS WIFE: A man killed his wife over a domestic dispute at Head Sulemanki.
Safia Bibi of Head Sulemanki was married to Amin of Bahawalnagar. She had been living with her parents after differences with her husband. Amin came to the house of his in-laws to reconcile with his wife Safia but quarrel again erupted between the couple. In a fit of frustration, Amin allegedly killed his wife with the blows of an iron chain. Haveli police have registered a case.
TWO KILLED ON ROAD: Two people were killed and three others injured in two road accidents here.
In the first incident, Haji Younus and Muhammad Wasim were on way when their car collided with a truck on GT Road. As a result, Younus died on the spot while Wasim was injured. Police have registered a case.
In the second incident, Iqra, her uncle Shafiq and granny Khurshid Bibi were on way when a vehicle ran over them. As a result, Iqra was killed on the spot while Shafiq and Khurshid Bibi were injured. They were shifted to a hospital. Renala Khurd police have registered a case.
