DCO promises funds for hospitals

OKARA: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sucrat Aman Rana Thursday visited the DHQ Hospital and promised funds for the hospital.
The DCO said there would be no compromise on the provision of best treatment facilities, free medicines, complete sanitation, presence of doctors and paramedical staff in the hospital.
The DCO said funds would be provided for installation of new machinery and repair of already out of order machines in the hospital. He urged the doctors to provide excellent services to visiting patients.
He said fool proof arrangements were being undertaken to monitor and make the hospital fully functional. He said no hindrance would tolerated in the service of grieved and diseased humanity.
FOUR IMPERSONATORS BOOKED: Police booked four impersonators on charges of using official number plates on their bikes illegally.
The police booked Bilal of Octroi post No 7, Ali Hassan of 23/D, Mukhtar of 1/GD and Zafar Iqbal of Chuchak.
Injured father also dies at hospital

OKARA: Abdul Ghafoor, the injured father of murdered Nasir, also died at the hospital on Thursday.
On Eid day, Liaqat and his accomplices had shot dead man Nasir at Pipli Pahar Forest Colony. His father Abdul Ghafoor had got injured and was rushed to a hospital at Lahore in serious condition. He also succumbed to his injuries there.
