Aisam, Nestor reach German Tennis semis

KARACHI: Pakistan’s tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Canadian partner Daniel Nestor moved into the semi-finals of German Tennis Championship at Hamburg, Germany, on Thursday.
Third seeds Aisam and Nestor, ranked 45th and 11th, respectively, defeated the unseeded pair of Colin Fleming of GBR and Mariusz Fyrstenberg of Poland 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 in the quarter-final.
They had beaten the German duo of Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Daniel Masur 6-2, 6-1 in the first round of this ATP-500 event.
They will face the unseeded duo of Guillermo Duran of Argentina and Jonathan Elrich of Israel in the semi-final.
