Pakistan’s map
By our correspondents
July 15, 2016
The map of Pakistan used in the advertisement of Allied Bank in the front page of July 13 is not authentic. It only represents four provinces – Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with Gilgit-Baltistan. Azad Jammu and Kashmir was also missing in that map.
Most of the maps available on the internet also don’t have Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The right map may not have been uploaded by the government’s concerned authority. The Department of Survey must take serious notice of this and upload the correct map of Pakistan.
