Rains in Karachi

Weather conditions in Karachi have suddenly changed. The Met office has predicted that the next 24 hours are quite crucial for the citizens of Karachi, and has requested citizens to take safety precautions.

The Sindh government has issued an advisory to all the concerned authorities to be alert. But I am sure that nothing will happen in accordance with such plans. We have seen several incidents in the past, where people have lost their lives and homes due to heavy rains and storms, but our honourable Sindh government took no immediate steps to help them. I urge all the concerned authorities to take effective measures, so that we could prevent the devastation that will be caused by storm and heavy rains in the city
