Woman commits, three other attempt suicide

FAISALABAD: A woman committed and three others attempted suicide in different incidents here.
Sughran Bibi, a resident of nearby village of Nankana, swallowed poisonous pills over a domestic dispute. As a result, she fell unconscious. She was shifted to the Allied Hospital where she died.
Meanwhile, Farzana of Duglaspura, Ambreen of Mansoorabad and Nazia of Dastgir Colony tried to end their lives by swallowing poisonous pills over domestic disputes. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
WOMAN KILLED ON ROAD: A woman was killed and her husband injured in an accident near Chenab Chowk on Faisalabad-Jhang Road.
Ayesha Perveen and her husband Malik Latif were on way when a car hit their motorcycle. As a result, Ayesha was killed on the spot while her husband was injured. The injured man was shifted to a hospital.
SHOPKEEPER ARRESTED: Sargodha Road police have arrested a shopkeeper for misusing a loudspeaker. Police arrested Muhammad Nazim, a shopkeeper of Akbar Chowk, when he was publicising his products on a loudspeaker. A case has been registered.
10 cops booked for house trespass, abduction

FAISALABAD: On a court order, Chak Jhumra police have registered a case against 10 policemen on the charges of trespassing a house and abducting a man.
In a petition, Shahid Naveed alleged that Sub-Inspector Ghulam Sarwar and nine other policemen illegally entered his house at Chak 157/GB and abducted his brother M Yousaf. According to reports, the abductee is still missing.
