Mian Iftikhar hopes ANP will win next election
NOWSHERA: Awami National Party (ANP) secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain on Monday said that his party would win the 2018 general election.
Speaking at a gathering in Daag Ismailkhel, he said that federal and provincial governments were not providing enough opportunities to the Pakhtuns.He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had no interest in resolving the problems faced by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ANP leader said that these parties were engaged in blame-game and had ignored the wellbeing of the people of the province.He said that his party was kept out of the parliament through a plan in the last general election for its opposition to extremism and militancy. On the occasion, Anwar Baig Khan and his family and supporters announced joining the ANP.
