Two killed in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: Two people, including a woman, were killed and another was injured in separate incidents of violence in different parts of the district on Saturday, police sources said. They said that one Rahim Gul was allegedly killed and a woman identified as Sheema was injured by an accused Irfanuddin at Sareeh Killay in Batagram area of the district. The accused, who happens to be father of the injured woman, made good his escape after committing the crime. Police said the incident was apparently related to honour killing. The injured girl was taken in a precarious condition to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. Separately, a man identified as Paloz Khan allegedly shot dead his wife Farzana in Dilazak area in the limits of Saro Police Station over a domestic issue. The accused fled the scene.
