Qadri, Rashid discuss politics
LAHORE: The final round to rid the country of corrupt rulers is about to begin and soon the path to people’s rule is round the corner and the people of the country should get ready for giving the final push to the already falling walls of power.
This was stated by Pakistan Awami Tehreek chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri while discussing the current political situation of the country with Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid, who called on him here on Friday. He said this time the rulers would not escape the wrath of the Almighty Allah.
The PAT chief told Sh Rashid that the rulers had made the people of the country a hostage of their vicious and cruel policies who could not find any respite from the unpleasant circumstances these rulers had created in the country. He said the rulers were looting the national exchequer with both hands.
Sh Rashid said that the people were now sick of these rulers and wanted to remove them at the earliest. He said this time the rulers would not find any place to hide and would be exposed.
Both the leaders condemned the terrorists’ attacks in Saudi Arabia and prayed for the victims and early recovery of the injured.
They said terrorists after killing women, children and elderly had now turned towards our religious sites but they forgot the entire Muslim community would stand in front of them like an iron wall and would never let them succeed in their nefarious designs.
They lauded the armed forces of Pakistan for defending our frontiers’ and for protecting the entire nation from extremism and terrorism. They praised the army jawans who launched the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and were saying their prayers on the frontline of the war on terrorism.
They said their sacrifices would not waste and would finally bring peace in the country.
