Woman dies under mysterious circumstances

LAHORE

A 25-year-old woman died under mysterious circumstances in the Nawankot police limits on Monday.

The victim identified as Asiya Bibi, a resident of Bucheki, was admitted in an unconscious condition by some unidentified person. She died in the hospital and the medical report suggested that she died due to brain haemorrhage. Police collected forensic evidences and registered the statements of the eye-witnesses. ASI Khalil said the victim had left the house of her in-laws after scuffling with her husband.

She was on her way to her parents’ home when she fell unconscious. Police have informed the family about the victim’s death and removed the body to morgue.
