Six killed in separate Mardan incidents
MARDAN: At least six people, including three women, have been killed in separate incidents of firing in the district, the police said.
Gul Karim Khan, a resident of Shutal Banda, told Saddar Police Station that his brothers-in-law Zarnosh, Darvesh and Jehanzeb entered his house and allegedly started firing, killing his wife and a relative Aziz Khan and injuring him and his eight-year-old son Owais. According to another case registered on the report of Sharifullah Khan in Kharki Police Station, he along with his brother Riaz and uncle Zeeshan were returning home when accused Sher Rehman, Attaur Rehman and Sarwar allegedly fired at them, killing his brother.
According to another case registered on the report of Mirdal Khan at Par Hoti Police Station, unidentified people killed his son Mohammad Shoaib and dumped his body in the fields. In another incident, Gulab, resident of Mulayano Killay, told the Sharoshah Police Station that he along with his family was present at home when Mohammad Alam, Ibrahim, Yousaf Khan and Ameer Hamza allegedly entered his house and opened fire. As a result, his wife Zaibun Nisa and daughter Gulsoom died on the spot. The police registered separate cases and started investigation.
