2 booked for selling expired pesticide

DASKA: An agricultural inspector Saturday caught red-handed two shopkeepers who were selling expired pesticide.

The inspector found the shopkeepers identified as Amjad Ali and Ammar selling expired pesticide in Briduge Arina village.

On the report of the inspector, police booked the shopkeepers.

HOUSE LOOTED: Four robbers barged into a house and took away valuables in the area of Sadar police on Saturday.

Inayat Ali was sleeping in his house when four gunmen arrived and took hostage the family members and took away cash, gold ornaments, a cell phone and other valuables.

BOOKED: Bombanwala police Saturday booked an accused on charges of sheltering a proclaimed offender (PO). Police on a tip-off raided the house of Ashraf to arrest PO Ali Akbar but he was alerted by Ashraf and escaped.
