Minister lays foundation stone of TB dispensary

BAHAWALPUR: State Minister for Higher Education and Interior Engineer Balighur Rehman Tuesday laid the foundation stone of Younus Shaheed TB dispensary in a ceremony.
The dispensary would be completed with Rs 5.8 million in the area of walled city in Bahawalpur.
EDO (health) Dr Shahid Khaliq, Dr Shahid Iqbal Baig, Mian Shahid Iqbal, Faheem Qureshi, Shahid Abdullah Chaudhry and a large number of citizens were also present. The minister said the government was fully committed both to expand and modernise medical infrastructure to extend state-of-the-art health facilities to citizens.
“Younus Shaheed TB Dispensary medical project is the practical manifestation of the Punjab government’s vision to provide health facilities at the door steps of the people”, the minister maintained. He directed health officials to mobilize all available resources to complete this project speedily to ensure better medical access to the residents of the area.
PUBLICITY FEE: Under the directions of Director General Parks and Horticulture authority Bahawalpur Dr Ehtisham Anwer Mehr, the Tehsil Municipal Administration Bahawalpur Tuesday handed over the publicity fee collecting authority to Parks and Horticulture authority Bahawalpur. Reportedly, after this new development from the next fiscal year 2016-17 the PHA Bahawalpur would regulate all aspects of pertaining to tax collection engagements in Bahawalpur City. Tax Superintendent TMA city Bahawalpur Malik Anwer handed over Tax related record pertaining to fiscal year 2014-15 and 2015-16 to Assistant Marketing Manager PHA Zaryab Hassan.
