Five commit suicide in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Five people, including four women, committed suicide in and around Faisalabad.
In the first incident, widow Arshad Bibi committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills when her parents forced her to marry with one of her disabled relatives at Lalian. In the second incident, Najma Bibi of Kot Ahmad Yar committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills after quarreling with her mother-in-law over a domestic issue. In the third incident, Nasreen, mother of five children, ended her life over a domestic dispute at Chak 275/RB. In the fourth incident, Kalsoom Bibi committed suicide over a domestic problem at Chak 228/JB, Chiniot. In the fifth incident, Muhammad Khan committed suicide over financial problems at Chak 583/GB, Jaranwala Road.
Two youths die while doing wheelie

FAISALABAD: Two youths were killed while doing wheelie in separate incidents here.
In the first incident, Zain was doing wheelie when his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle at Chowk Khurrianwala. As a result, he received serious injuries. He was shifted to the Khurrianwala Hospital where he died. In the second incident Shamshad was killed when his motorcycle struck against a footpath while doing wheelie on Satiana Road.
SHOPKEEPER KILLED: A shopkeeper was killed in an explosion of welding tank on Sheikhupura Road.
Muhammad Amjad was working in his shop when the welding tank suddenly exploded. As a result, he was injured seriously. He was shifted to the Allied Hospital where he died.
DEMO: People residing near Samundri Bypass staged a demonstration against the rising incidents of dacoity and theft in the area. They blocked Samundri Road for two hours by burning tyres. They were chanting slogans against the police.
CHILD DIES: An eight-year-old girl was killed in a road accident here on Saturday. Noor Fatima of Hajveri Town with her father was on her way when a van hit their motorcycle, killing her on the spot.
Bridegroom commits, bride attempts suicide

FAISALABAD: A bridegroom committed and a bride attempted suicide at Kalianwala.
Abdul Ghaffar contracted love marriage with a girl three days ago. The girl’s parents were forcing Abdul Ghaffar to return their daughter. Frustrated over it, the couple consumed poison. As a result, Abdul Ghaffar was killed on the spot while his wife fell unconscious. She was shifted to a hospital.
