Int’l seminar arrangements reviewed
LAHORE : Principal PGMI Prof Al-Freed Zafar presided over a meeting on Saturday to review arrangements of the international seminar “USMLE and Global Career Pathways”. MS Prof Faryad Hussain, seminar coordinator M Ahmed Faraz Tarar and Dr. Ahmed Farooq were also present in the meeting.
It is for the first time in the medical history of Pakistan, a seminar “USMLE and Global Career Pathways” will be organised at Lahore General Hospital on April 29 by doctors who have graduated from Amiruddin Medical College (AMC) and are serving in various developed countries including the US and UK. Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe (APPNE) President Dr Nadeem Sajjad Raja will also participate in the seminar from the UK as a special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. Al-Freed Zafar termed the seminar as ‘Brain Gain’ for Pakistan.
