Wasa accelerates efforts to save water
LAHORE : Wasa Lahore, under the vision of Punjab government, has further accelerated its development activities to save water, eliminate the threat of urban flooding and promote urban facilities.
In this regard, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Wasa MD Ghufran Ahmed on Saturday, in which a detailed review of the construction of underground water tanks and the progress of the Lahore Development Programme was taken. In the meeting all directors concerned gave detailed briefings to Wasa MD about the ongoing development projects. Wasa MD directed that the under construction underground water tank projects should be completed in quality and timely manner so that the threat of urban flooding during the monsoon can be effectively eliminated. He directed all the directors to further accelerate the pace of development projects.
