Two cops wounded in bomb attack on police van
Police have conducted a search operation in the area after the attack

PESHAWAR: Two policemen were wounded in a bomb attack on a police van in Lakki Marwat while the City Police Station in Tank was attacked with a rocket on Thursday.
An official said a vehicle of the Lakki Marwat police was targeted by an improvised explosive device in Pezu on Thursday. Two policemen, identified as Imran and Islamuddin, were wounded in the blast. They were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
The vehicle caught fire after the explosion that was put off by the firefighters. Police have conducted a search operation in the area after the attack.
Meanwhile, a rocket was fired at the City Police Station in the troubled Tank district. The alert policemen opened fire on the attackers. No casualty was reported in the rocket attack.
