Ombudsman wants decisions implemented
ABBOTTABAD: The Federal Ombudsman Office has resolved 223198 complaints out of 226372 filed against the maladministration of govt departments in the year 2024.Briefing to media here on Wednesday, Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi urged government officials to ensure implementation of the decisions so that the complainants get immediate relief.
He said the year 2024 was important in that a record number of complaints were filed and decisions made.Last year, 226,372 complaints were received and decisions were made on 223,198 complaints, he added.
Earlier, addressing the gathering at the regional ombudsman office, the federal ombudsman said that the ombudsman office had been using the latest technology to help in the speedy redressal of cases and to enhance its outreach to the people in remote areas of the country.
