Alleged terrorist arrested in Dir

DIR: The police arrested an alleged terrorist from the Ushiri Dara area in Upper Dir district, sources said.The sources said that the suspected militant, identified as Siddiq, was believed to have ties to Afghanistan.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Gandigar police. After an initial investigation, the suspect was handed over to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). When contacted, District Police Officer Zafar Khan confirmed the arrest.
He said the suspect, who belonged to Kunar province of Afghanistan, was arrested in the Ushiri Dara area.The CTD will now conduct a thorough investigation into the suspect’s activities, background, and potential connections to terrorist organizations.
