India supporting terrorists in Balochistan: Kakar
LAHORE:Former caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar on Tuesday said some miscreants had created unrest in Balochistan and their narrative that there had been no development in the province was totally baseless.
He alleged that only India was behind terrorism in Balochistan which was supporting separatists. Speaking at 'Meet the Press' event at Lahore Press Club, Anwar Kakar stated that like other countries of the world which had combated trouble and later got rid of it, Pakistan would also pass this phase.
Kakar went on to say that Punjabis killed on the soil of Balochistan were Pakistanis and their killing was an assault on Pakistan. To a question, the elements which were willing to hold dialogue should be welcomed but how could negotiations be held with those who were not willing for any solution. He said the separatists had no political agenda and their prime motive was to create unrest in the province but they would never succeed.
To another question, Kakar said that RAW behind the present turbulence in Balochistan and several desks were working under it to create disturbance in Balochistan. He said the terrorists should not remain in any false perception that they would succeed in separating Balochistan from Pakistan. President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari on the occasion welcomed the former caretaker PM. He said media should also discourage elements supporting unrest in Balochistan. In the end, Arshad Ansari also presented shield to the guest.
