University Road is one of Karachi’s most vital routes, connecting major educational institutions. Every day, thousands rely on this road, but its condition tells a story of neglect and poor planning. Uneven surfaces, broken footpaths and open manholes have become the norm. During monsoons, waterlogging turns the road into a traffic nightmare.
For students, daily commuters and emergency services, the road poses serious challenges. Proper drainage, quality construction, regular maintenance and accountability are key to restoring University Road.
