Killer of cop held in Mansehra
MANSEHRA: Police have arrested a hardened criminal wanted in cases of murder, attempted murder and other heinous crimes in parts of the district.
“We have arrested a proclaimed offender who had murdered a policeman and scattered his body parts in different locations in the Battal area,” SHO Baffa Police Station Shujaat Qureshi told reporters.
He said the arrest was part of a broader crackdown launched on the orders of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Hazara, Nasir Mehmood Satti and District Police Officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur, which so far has led to the arrest of many outlaws.
“In a recent breakthrough, we raided a house in the Gulibagh area and arrested the notorious criminal Sajawal Delawar, who was involved in the brutal killing of a policeman,” Qureshi added.
DPO Shafiullah Khan Gandapur awarded appreciation certificates to the police team that took part in the successful operation.
