Integrating AI into education system discussed
Islamabad:A significant meeting was held at the office of the Parliamentary Secretary for Education here on Thursday to deliberate on Pakistan’s future direction in the fields of education and artificial intelligence.
The discussion focused on integrating AI into the national education system and fostering international collaboration for advancements in education and health sectors. Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad, an information technology and AI visionary currently based in Australia, expressed his strong commitment to leading Pakistan into a new technological era. He emphasised the urgent need to design and implement an AI curriculum that spans from primary schools to university levels.
“This initiative, proposed under the Ministry of Federal Education, aims to equip Pakistani students with the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving global tech landscape,” he said. He said Pakistan must respond proactively to the dynamic changes in technology. “By embedding AI into our education system, we can prepare our youth to be leaders, innovators, and valuable contributors to the global economy.”
