Four matches decided in women’s hockey
KARACHI: Four more matches were decided in the Dr. Shah Five-A-Side Hockey Tournament. Organized by the KHA Women’s Wing in collaboration with the Karachi Hockey Association, in the first match played at the Mini Astro Turf of the Olympian Hanif Khan and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Sports Complex, Gulshan-e-Iqbal: Rose Rebels easily defeated Diamond Divas 4-1. Maheen Ali and Sehrish scored two goals each for the winning team.
In the second match, Pearl Pioneers defeated Queen Bees 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by Musfirah. In the third match, Lionesses of the Field easily defeated Diamond Divas 3-0. Momal Suqena scored two goals and captain Iqra scored one goal.
In the fourth match, Lionesses of the Field defeated Pearl Pioneers 3-1 thanks to Momal Suqena’s brilliant hat trick. Musfirah scored the only goal for Pearl Pioneers. These matches were supervised by umpires Kashmala Batool, Rizwan Khan and Zafeer Ahmed.
