Over 10,136 illegal residents shifted to centres

LAHORE:As part of the ongoing crackdown on illegally residing foreign nationals, over 10,136 individuals were shifted to holding centres, while 560 remained at holding points. A police spokesperson said five holding centres were set up in Lahore and 46 across Punjab. IG Punjab stated that the deportation policy was being implemented in line with international laws, with oversight from the government and sensitive agencies.
