After successful dialogue with GHA: LGH OPD made functional

LAHORE : The administration of Lahore General Hospital is committed to provide timely and quality healthcare services. Now they announced that the OPD Pharmacy will be opened until 8.00pm to facilitate the general public to receive free medicines.

After successful dialogues between the Grand Health Alliance (GHA) and Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Prof Al-Fareed Zafar, work has been started smoothly while LGH Outdoor Department has also been made functional immediately.

After this development, Prof Al-Fareed Zafar, accompanied by Medical Superintendent Dr Faryad Hussain, conducted a detailed visit to various departments where they assured patients about provision of medical facilities. They personally interacted with patients and inquired about the standard of medical care and available facilities.

Principal PGMI stated that the concerns of the Grand Health Alliance (LGH) representatives were duly heard and they were convinced to ensure uninterrupted medical services. This dialogue paved the way for the immediate restoration of OPD services, Prof. Al-Fareed Zafar told.

Prof Al-Fareed Zafar encouraged patients and their attendants to record any concern or feedback directly to the hospital administration so that timely action can be taken for resolution. He further emphasised that LGH is one of the most vital healthcare institutions not only for the city of Lahore but also for the entire province, serving patients from remote areas. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every staff member from senior doctors to ward attendant to fulfill their duties with utmost dedication.

He reaffirmed that, in line with the vision of the CM Punjab, LGH is committed to deliver 24/7 medical services and providing best possible healthcare to every citizen without any discrimination.
