ASF holds meena bazaar

Rawalpindi : Attock Sahara Foundation (ASF) a non-profit organization arranged a colorful Meena Bazaar at Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) Cricket Ground on Saturday, says a press release.

Riffat Abbasi, MPA and focal person to the Chief Minister, Punjab on women development was the chief guest on the occasion. She appreciated the welfare activities of ASF for development of the marginalised segments of the society especially the women of the vicinity in skill development and CSR activities of ARL.

The Meena Bazaar was colorfully arranged and about 140 stalls were set up and a large number of people from the surrounding areas of Morgah and Kotha Kalan, family members of ARL employees and people from the twin cities also visited the Meena Bazaar.

ASF has been arranging Meena Bazaar for the last many years to raise funds for the needy and poor people of the area. Funds generated by Meena Bazaar are spent on education, Health, skill development, income generation and women development activities. ASF has also established Zakat and Dowry fund for the needy people and disbursed sizable amount of Zakat and Dowry Fund. This amount is widely distributed to widows, orphans and deserving people of the surroundings areas.
