The recent defeats of Pakistan have not brought any changes in the PCB. Our players seem to have more enthusiasm for the PSL than international cricket, which ought to be their first priority. The PSL has become a cash cow for the PCB, with abundant sponsorships and broadcasting deals. However, this focus on PSL has come at the cost of international cricket. Our players are overplayed, and the lack of a proper rotation policy has taken a toll on their performance. Furthermore, the PCB’s handling of the team is questionable. The constant changes in the team’s leadership and the lack of a clear strategy have affected the team’s performance. The board needs to take a step back and re-evaluate its priorities.
