Youth kills father, sister for house

FAISALABAD: A youth killed his disabled father and sister over a property dispute at Chak 108/JB, Talwandi, in Chak Jhumra police limits on Wednesday.

Muhammad Rizwan had repeatedly asked his father Muhammad Nawaz to transfer a three-marla house in his name but he refused. Rizwan’s sisters were also against it. On the day of the incident, Rizwan allegedly killed his father Nawaz and sister Sumera Bibi and injured another sister Saira Bibi with the blows of a dagger. Police have arrested the accused and registered a case under Sections 302 and 307 of the PPC.

IMPERSONATOR BOOKED: People’s Colony police booked an impersonator here. Dr Muhammad Shaukat reported to police that Muhammad Suleman called him and introduced himself as an employee of the NAB and demanded handsome amount from him. He said that the accused also threatened to kill him in case of non-payment of the amount.

BOY KILLED ON ROAD: A boy was killed in an accident on Khurrianwala Road here. Abdul Majid, a resident of Ghausia Colony, was on way home when a speeding bus crushed him to death.

 

Pregnant woman dies during operation

Relatives stage demo, demand arrest of doctor

FAISALABAD: A pregnant woman died due to the alleged negligence of a doctor at a private hospital at Tandlianwala.

Zahid Iqbal shifted his wife Perveen Bibi to the hospital after she felt labour pain. During the operation, Perveen and her child died due to the alleged negligence of the doctor. Meanwhile, the deceased’s relatives staged a demonstration and demanded immediate arrest of the accused doctor.
