CCPO orders expediting action against illegal Afghan nationals
LAHORE:Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana presided over an important meeting at his office on Friday.
The meeting was briefed on the progress regarding the repatriation of illegal Afghan nationals. It was informed in the meeting that illegal residents are being transferred to the designated holding centres. Addressing the meeting, CCPO issued instructions to expedite the process of repatriating Afghan nationals residing illegally in the city. He directed the Divisional SPs to personally oversee the repatriation process. Bilal Siddique Kamyana emphasised that illegal Afghan residents are being identified through coordination with line departments and the sharing of intelligence-based information. The meeting was attended by DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Operations) Tassawar Iqbal and Divisional SPs (Operations).
