‘Fake’ exam supervisor arrested in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: An official of the district administration on Thursday apprehended a fake exam supervisor who was performing duties at a private school.Assistant Commissioner Waqas Rehman arrested the man for using a counterfeit notification to pose as an official supervisor. The accused, a teacher at a government primary school, had been working for three days before being caught red-handed.

Sources said the operation took place at the examination hall of a private school, Sherpao, where the fake supervisor was found. Information about the fraudulent activity came from a tip-off from confidential sources. After confirming the forgery, a case was filed under sections 419 and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Umarzai Police Station.
