LHC summons AG to explain closure of X
Counsel for federal government requested court to summon AG on April 17

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) summoned the Attorney General on April 17 for assistance on closure of X (Twitter).
A 3-member bench of LHC presided over by Justice Aalia Neelum took up the petitions against the closure of X (Twitter) for hearing on Tuesday.
The counsel for the federal government requested the court to summon the AG on April 17.
He also asked to fix the next hearing on the same date. Justice Farooq Haider remarked we have already called AG due to the sensitivity of this case. Later while ordering the AG to appear person on April 17 the LHC adjourned the hearing.
