ISLAMABAD: According to a report compiled by the Establishment Division, the total number of officers of Grade 20 to Grade 22 working in subordinate offices and constitutional bodies is 1,527. Of these officers, 52 belong to Islamabad.

The Establishment Division has provided the details to parliament. Among them, 834 officers are from Punjab and 255 from Sindh, 140 are from rural Sindh and 115 from urban Sindh; 246 officers are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 58 officers from Balochistan and 28 from Azad Kashmir. Eleven officers are from Gilgit-Baltistan and 43 from ex-FATA.

The number of Grade 22 officers is 87. Three of them belong to Islamabad; Punjab 54; Sindh 16; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 10; Balochistan 2 and one each from Kashmir and ex-FATA. The number of Grade 21 officers is 378. Ten of them belong to Islamabad; Punjab of 184; Sindh 72; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 77; Balochistan 16; Kashmir 7 while six each are from Gilgit-Baltistan and ex-FATA.

The number of Grade 20 officers is 1062. Of these, 39 belong to Islamabad; Punjab 596; Sindh 167; Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 159; 40 belong to Balochistan; 20 belong to Azad Kashmir and 36 from ex-FATA.
