Invigilator dismissed over negligence during exam duty

Rawalpindi:Under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and the Zero Tolerance Policy of the Government of Punjab, the First Annual Examinations 2025 are being conducted under strict supervision. On the special instructions of Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat, stringent security and monitoring arrangements have been made at all examination centres.

Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi, Muhammad Adnan Khan visited various examination centres including Government High School no.1, Kala Gujran, Jhelum; Government High School No. 2, Kala Gujran, Jhelum; Government Jamia High School, Jhelum; MC Islamia High School, Jhelum; Government High School Garmala, Jhelum; Government High School, Baga, Jhelum; and Government Associate College, G.T. Road, Jhelum to inspect the arrangements.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, he said, "The network of cheating mafias has largely been dismantled, and now no one is allowed to benefit from unfair means or cheating." He further stated that monitoring teams are actively present in the field throughout the exams and immediate action is taken wherever violations are observed. These steps were necessary to protect the hard work of honest students.

Controller of Examinations, Rawalpindi Board, Tanveer Asghar Awan, visited examination centres including Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Nara Mator, Tehsil Kahuta;, and Government Girls High School, Nara Mator, Tehsil Kahuta; District Rawalpindi. At the Government Girls High School, Nara Mator, an invigilator was dismissed from exam duty due to negligence and carelessness.
