Role of Orakzai, Hangu journalists lauded

HANGU: The local journalists from Orakzai Press Club and Hangu Press Club on Monday called on the commandant of Thall Scouts and discussed matters about their respective domains.

The meeting took place at the Thall Cantt where Commandant Thall Scouts Colonel Alamgir Khan appreciated the positive role of local journalists in the current situation. He stressed the need for working together to maintain law and order and prevent the subversive elements from disrupting the peace. The official talked about the recent tense situation in Kurram and other areas with the journalists.Colonel Alamgir noted that controlling the recent unrest in the Kurram district was not an easy task.
