80pc uplift funds released, says CM’s aide
PESHAWAR: Adviser to Chief Minister for Finance and Interprovincial Coordination Muzzammil Aslam has announced that the provincial government had released 80 percent of its development funds by March, surpassing the rate of other provinces and the federal government.
“This achievement highlights the government’s commitment to accelerating development projects,” he said in an official handout issued on Sunday. The finance adviser said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government allocated a significant portion of its development funds, demonstrating its focus on rapid project implementation.
He said that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur approved a 27 percent increase in the development budget, with an additional Rs27 billion to be disbursed soon for various projects.
