LAHORE:Punjab Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat fulfilling a promise made to schoolteachers has sent top-performing teachers from the TNA test to the UK for foreign training.
The selected teachers participated in the TNA test despite the boycott. A five-member delegation, consisting of three male and two female teachers, left for Scotland under the leadership of the Secretary Education Khalid Nazeer Watto. Expressing his best wishes for the teachers, Rana Sikandar Hayat stated that by sending capable and hardworking teachers for foreign training, another commitment has been completed.
He added that the teachers would undergo a seven-day international standard training programme, which will enhance their professional skills. The minister expressed hope that the teachers receiving training in the UK will bring positive changes to Pakistan’s education system through modern skills, making the learning journey of students more effective.
