LAHORE:As part of the government's ongoing campaign to repatriate illegally residing migrants, 1,336 individuals have been deported from Pakistan, with 2,772 more transferred to holding centres in the past 24 hours.
A total of 46 holding centres have been set up across Punjab to facilitate the deportation process. IG Punjab reaffirmed the commitment to send all illegal migrants back, ensuring heightened security during the repatriation. Migrants are being identified through intelligence and security agencies, with coordination from district administrations for transportation and logistics.
