JUI-F senator sees CM Bugti’s standing at stake
Murtaza urges the government to take corrective measures before it is too late
QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF) leader Senator Kamran Murtaza has warned that the situation in Balochistan is becoming increasingly critical, claiming that Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti is rapidly losing control.
Speaking to reporters, Senator Murtaza emphasized that dialogue is the key to resolving conflicts, but lamented his suggestion regarding Dr. Mahrang Baloch was ignored. He warned that the ongoing crisis would ultimately harm Sarfraz Bugti the most.
“If the situation continues, Sarfraz Bugti will lose both his chief ministership and his political standing in the province,” he stated, adding that he supports BNP leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
Murtaza urged the government to take corrective measures before it is too late. “It would be wise for Sarfraz Bugti to acknowledge the gravity of the situation and take steps accordingly. If he fails to do so, it will reflect his inexperience,” he remarked.
