3 sisters shot dead in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three sisters were shot dead in Ramak area of Paroa Tehsil in the Dera Ismail Khan district.The police registered a case against four brothers in connection with the killings.
According to the FIR filed at Paroa Police Station, the mother of the slain women accused one Haroon, Siddique, Younis, and Sohail, sons of Abdul Qayyum, belonging to the Sherani tribe of murdering her daughters.
She stated that the suspects entered their house during the night and opened fire while her daughters were asleep in the veranda, killing all three on the spot.The police launched an investigation following the registration of the case.
Reports suggested that the incident may be an act of revenge. It was learnt that some time ago, the victims and their family were allegedly involved in the killing of their sister-in-law, which may have prompted the retaliatory attack.Further investigation was under way to determine the motive behind the killings and bring those responsible to justice.
