TOBA TEK SINGH: A land owner amputated two fingers of his worker as punishment for having holiday without his prior permission here on Friday.
Shahzad of Chak 83/JB was employed with land owner Asghar Ali of Chak 366/JB. He went on leave without Asghar’s permission. On the day of the incident, when Shahzad came back from his home, accused Asghar overpowered him and chopped off his two fingers of one hand with a sharp-edged weapon. The victim has been shifted to the Gojra THQ Hospital. Sadr police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
