Thailand women’s team in Pakistan for WC Qualifiers
LAHORE: The preparations for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier are gathering momentum as teams begin to arrive in Pakistan. Among the early arrivals is the Thailand women’s team.
The 19-member Thailand squad, captained by the dynamic Naruemol Chaiwai, landed in Lahore from Bangkok, marking their commitment to securing one of the coveted spots in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier is scheduled to take place in Lahore from April 9th to 19th. Matches will be hosted at prominent venues, including Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore City Cricket Association ground.
The tournament will feature six teams battling it out in a league-style format, with Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, and Thailand all vying for the final two qualification spots for the main event in India later this year.
